Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 23, 2026 • Last Updated: October 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the BitPrism (EMU GB/A/C) application for mobile devices (Android and iOS), together with any related services operated by Benjamin Kararic under B-ee (Butterfly-Effect Enterprise) (collectively, the "Application"). Benjamin Kararic is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
1. Local Emulation & On-Device Files
BitPrism is a local hardware emulation utility. Game image files (ROMs), save states, and in-game battery saves (.sav) that you load or generate within the Application are processed and stored locally on your device. The Service Provider does not upload, access, or transmit your personal ROM files or local save states to external servers.
2. Information Collection and Use
The Application collects limited diagnostic and usage information when you download and use it. This information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address (for regional compliance and ad delivery)
- The screens of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those screens
- Overall session duration and crash/stability diagnostics
- Your mobile operating system version and device model
For support inquiries or voluntary feedback, the Service Provider may receive personally identifiable information that you explicitly choose to send (such as your email address when contacting benet255@gmail.com). This information is retained and used solely to resolve your request and improve the Application.
3. Cookies, Advertising & Tracking Technologies (iOS ATT & GDPR)
The Application or its third-party advertising SDK (Google AdMob) may use device identifiers, cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to support ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and analytics.
- iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On iOS/iPadOS devices, the Application requests your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). If you decline, only non-personalized contextual advertisements are shown.
- EEA/UK Consent (GDPR): Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider obtains your consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
4. Third-Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in maintaining and improving the Application. Please note that the Application utilizes third-party service providers that operate under their own Privacy Policies:
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
- When they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- With trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
5. International Data Transfers
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider relies on appropriate legal mechanisms:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
- Adequacy decisions or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms
- Your explicit consent, where required and legally permitted
6. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the Service Provider at benet255@gmail.com.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise your California privacy rights, contact the Service Provider at benet255@gmail.com.
7. Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all further collection of information from your mobile device at any time by uninstalling the Application. You may also reset or limit ad tracking in your mobile device's system privacy settings (Android Advertising ID or iOS Tracking settings).
8. Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider retains personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:
- User Provided Support Data: Retained for the duration of your support inquiry plus up to 12 months thereafter, unless longer retention is required by law.
- Automatically Collected Diagnostic/Ad Data: Retained for up to 24 months from collection, unless longer retention is required for legal compliance.
- Aggregated and Anonymized Data: Retained indefinitely as it no longer identifies any individual user.
9. Children's Privacy
The Application is not intended for children under 16 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children under 16. In the event the Service Provider discovers that a child under 16 has provided personal information without required parental consent, they will immediately delete this information. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact benet255@gmail.com.
10. Security & Data Breach Notification
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed and maintained. If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Previous versions are maintained and available upon request.
12. Contact Us
